Council Corner

 Your Council met on January 16th.  The following may be some points of interest to you.  If you would like to see a complete copy of the Minutes, you may look in the notebook in the office.

 © Easter offering will be deposited in the general budget.

© Our Mission Partner will receive the midweek Lenten Services offering.

© The Fire Extinguisher Contract is complete.  Mid Michigan Fire has checked the extinguishers and the kitchen hood nodules.

© AED (Defibrillator) update: Connie Teddy, Amy Smith and Mark Dombkowski have completed training.  Training is available to anyone.

© Fundraiser proposal from Diane Christensen and Eric from Organic Gold Coffee Company—presentation on financial opportunities for St. Paul to make money by getting members to buy/sell coffee and other products.  Tabled until next meeting.

© Funding approved for CCLI License to be able to obtain music for contemporary services.

© Signage proposal from Pastor Betsy and Angie.  Arrowswift’s quote was too expensive for office and food pantry signs for the entrance and signage for the meeting rooms inside.  Lynn Cooper agreed to look into further options-possible wooden stands for the inside and bulletin boards by mailboxes.  A restroom sign was purchased.

Council meetings will now be held on the third Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m.  The next meeting will be on February 20th at 6pm.
